Daywright support
Let’s get it sorted.
Email daywright@artificialgovernance.ai for help or feedback.
Include your device model, operating system and version, the Daywright edition and build, what you expected, and what happened. If a screenshot would help, hide private task and calendar information first. Never send passwords, sign-in codes, or payment details.
Common questions
Is Daywright for Apple and Android?
Yes. The Apple edition for iPhone and iPad is in beta testing, and a native Android edition is in development. Public download links will appear here when available. The current screenshots and detailed guide show the Apple edition.
Will my tasks and subscription carry over to Android?
The current Android scope uses local task storage. It does not include Apple-to-Android task sync, an Apple data importer, or automatic sharing of Apple subscription access. Android purchase and setup details will be published when available.
Does Daywright work on iPad?
Yes. Daywright has a native iPad layout and requires iPadOS 17 or later. Home shows your calendar and task list side by side in wider windows, then adapts for rotation, narrower windows, and larger text. You can type with the on-screen or a connected keyboard. iPhone requires iOS 17 or later.
Where can I download Daywright?
Apple builds are in beta testing and Android is in development. Public download details for each platform will appear on this website when available.
Do I need to connect a calendar?
No. You can add to-dos and use Free now with the time you say you have. Calendar access adds context about commitments. If coverage is missing, stale, or incomplete, read the notice in the app before relying on an opening.
Will Daywright change my calendar?
No. Daywright reads included calendars; it does not create, edit, or delete their events. Scheduling a task creates a private placement inside Daywright.
Why do I see the same event twice?
A Google calendar may be available both through device calendars and a direct Google connection. In Settings → Included calendars, include it through one source.
Why is a to-do missing from Free now?
Check its time estimate, availability, scheduled time, and waiting status. It may not fit the chosen opening. Not now skips it for the current session; Not today keeps it out for the day. A waiting task needs Ready again before it can be suggested.
What happens if I do not finish a scheduled task?
Its scheduled time ending does not mark it complete. Open it to record Made progress, mark it done, or Return to flexible list. For repeating schedules, each occurrence has its own completion status.
Will a waiting follow-up send me a notification?
No. A waiting follow-up appears inside Daywright. It does not send an alert or contact anyone. Scheduled task reminders are separate and can notify you before a scheduled start.
How do I stop Siri from saving a to-do immediately?
Turn on Settings → Siri & Shortcuts → Review before adding. Add a to-do will open a draft for review before you tap Add. Control Center and Action button controls already open the app for you to choose an action.
Can I hide task titles outside the app?
In Settings → Widgets & Live Activities, turn off Show widget task titles for Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets. Times and estimates remain visible. Live Activity titles have a separate setting and are hidden by default. These settings do not hide information returned to Siri, a shortcut, or the Watch companion and its watch-face summaries.
Why is my widget behind the app?
The system controls widget refresh timing. Open Daywright to refresh its information. Expired snapshots are limited, but a widget should not be treated as a live view of every change. A Live Activity countdown also does not mark a task complete.
Where did the old lists and contact fields go?
The current editor uses a simpler set of details. Older next-step and repeat-step text and website links move into Notes. Retired list, contact, legacy address, requirement, and phone-only fields are no longer used and are removed from the local task file on its next successful save. The new Place field is separate: add a saved place to use nearby to-dos. The privacy policy explains this change.
What happens if my subscription expires?
Saved tasks, history, and drafts are not automatically deleted. They remain readable on your device; planning and changes require Daywright Plus. Open Settings → Subscription for access, restore, and management options. Deleting the app does not cancel an Apple subscription.
Does Daywright sync tasks between devices?
On the Apple edition, yes, optionally. In Settings → Your Apple devices → iCloud sync, enable Sync with iCloud in Daywright on each device using the same Apple Account. Local use remains available with sync off. Daywright and Shift do not sync with each other. Device backups are separate from sync. See setup and sync status.
Why is a Watch action still Pending?
The phone has not confirmed saving it yet. Open Daywright on your paired iPhone and check the Watch status. Captured titles appear in Watch drafts for you to choose an estimate and save. A stale Watch list needs a refresh before completion or undo. See the Watch guide.
Why did an arrival reminder not appear?
Check that the to-do has a saved place and Arrival reminder enabled, then check location and notification permissions on this device. Open Nearby to-dos and read any limit or unavailable notice. The operating system controls delivery, so an alert may be delayed. See nearby setup.
Does pausing sync delete my iCloud copy?
No. Turning sync off pauses transfers. Data already in iCloud remains, and offline changes stay on the device. A device backup is separate. Read the privacy policy before removing app or iCloud data.
